Grenadier released the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Figureline in 1980 as an officially licensed product from TSR Hobbies Inc. The AD&D - Small Figure Sets contained models in 25mm scale. The set numbers and many of the models were later reused in the Dragon Lords - Fantasy Boxed Sets range after Grenadier lost the AD&D license.

- The earlier insert lists 10 figures but shows 11 in the picture - a figure with a spear & shield is also shown by mistake.
- This set was later re-released as a Dragon Lords version with the Gnome Illusionist and Wizard swapped out for new figures. However, the 2019 Mirliton Kickstarter [4] revealed that an unreleased version of the Illusionist existed with the staff turned into a flail(?).
