AD&D Action Scenes

Model Products Corporation produced this AD&D Action Scenes range. The MPC figures and bases were made of hard styrene, and generally were assembled in two halves (front & back) although a few were much more complex [1] — the dragon was several pieces, for obvious reasons, and the orcs had articulated arms, so you could potentially pose them in a number of ways. A few were single-pieces, like the skeletons. Apparently[2], TSR allowed MPC to directly copy into plastic form figures produced at the time under license by Grenadier Models.

- These sets came with vacuum-formed bases and miniatures. The advertisement above however shows lead Grenadier AD&D miniatures. The figures that MPC produced were based on the Grenadier line, with some differences.
