Alternative Armies and 15mm are closely related companies, and both are owned by Alector. Alternative Armies have been around since 1990 although their first release was in 1991. They were acquired by Crescent City Industries in the mid-1990s before ending up with Alector in 1997. They produce some older 25mm/28mm series from Tabletop Games and Asgard [1]. They used to use "The Figure Company" as a brand.
