Martian Metals was founded by Forest Brown in 1976 to produce military miniatures for the US Army. Forest Brown was the principal sculptor. They went on to produced figures for a number of licensed properties as well as their own ranges. Their figures have distinctive six-sided bases. The address for Zocchi Distributors was sometimes used as theirs, but an alternative address in the later 1980s was PO Box 388, Cedar Park, TX 78613, USA.
