The Tudor Mint was a trading name of The Watson Group, a jewelry company founded in 1915 (the WAPW on the bases of many figures stands for Walter Archibald Parker Watson the original jeweller) [1]. The new name was adopted at the end of the 1970s. In 1989 they introduced The Myth & Magic Collection - a range of fantasy figurines in metal adorned with crystals. In 1991 the brand had become a limited company in its own right. In 2007 the company was sold to the Xystos Group who stopped making most of the ranges. Xystos went into administration in September 2013.
