Doctor Who

Doctor Who [1] is a licensed property of the BBC (with Terry Nation owning the rights to the Daleks). The TV series ran initially from 1963 to 1989 before being put on hold for 16 years and then being relaunched (continued) in 2005.
Doctor Who has been the subject of a plethora of action figures and toys as well as a few wargaming and role-playing games. Dinky Toys made a police box which was discontinued before the 2005 relaunch of Dr Who began and many other toy companies have made Police Box models. [2] FASA released The Doctor Who Role Playing Game in 1985 and Harlequin Miniatures released Doctor Who Invasion Earth in 1996: both games were backed up by ranges of figures. Warlord Games announced in August 2015 that they would be releasing a new miniatures game. [3][4]
