Doster Company Entertainment (Range)
From Lost Minis Wiki
Contents |
Doster Company Entertainment produced this range of figures. They range started out under their earlier company name of Universal Games, Inc. These fantasy figures were intended for use with the strategy games designed by Nathan G. Doster. The names of characters featured quirky spellings and the target audience appears to have been the grade school/ pre-teen market. Product codes of known produced pieces contain gaps in the numbering, perhaps to allow for future expansion. The sculpts were by Tom Meier and were released between 1996 and 1998. Boonya's Epic Voyage appears to have been scheduled for release much later in Autumn 2008 but this may not have happened. [3]
The Dosuan Series
Dosuan was the game world that Piptwynn was set in. A series of games were planned each exapanding on the setting and the rules. [5]. The Dosuan Series was intended to include The Quest for Piptwynn's Scroll, Piptwynn's Festival, Boonya's Epic Voyage, Delphiin's Treasure, Thistledown Racers, Settling Dosuan and The Dosuan Challenge. Only Piptwynn and Boonya were produced.
