Dunwich Detectives (Metal Magic)

Hobby Products' Dunwich Detectives (Dunwich Detektive) was a range of "Call of Cthulhu" figures created in the late 1980's. Hobby Products were the German publishers of Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu (Auf Chulhu's Spur) which was featured in the 1987 catalog alongside the Dunwich Detective range. The range was marketed as "suitable for Horror and Detective role-playing games set in the 1920's" and apparently avoided being an officially licensed range of miniatures for Call of Cthulhu. Hobby Products stopped producing the range sometime around the mid-1990's.

At some point eM-4 Miniatures acquired the rights to this range and they re-issued them in 2006. All of the figures here are currently in production save the older set of female adventurers (C2002) and and one of the policemen (C2003e). The eM-4 releases use the same product codes as the originals though they have dropped the 'C' prefix. They also have several of the investigators available as Dunwich Detectives Pre-Painted miniatures.

• eM-4 uses different letter-codes for the re-based Ochmann models: there is only packaging-proof that C2002h is 'h'.
