Footsore Miniatures was founded in 2014 by three friends Donald Hauser (USA), Andrew Chesney (U.K.) and Bill Thornhill (USA). The company was based on the original Musketeer Miniatures ranges and they produce mainly historical figures. Early on, their Character Figures range did include pirates, vampire hunters and zombies. They are also the UK dealer for Stronghold Terrain.

Company History
After Bill Thornhill left Wargames Foundry he set up his own company Musketeer Miniatures before moving to the US in 2009 where he met Donald Hauser. Around 2014 they set up Footsore Miniatures, with Andrew Chesney, incorporating the Musketeer Miniatures ranges. Donald looked after the American and South American markets with Andrew looking after the U.K. market.
War Banner Games was an off-shoot company of Footsore Miniatures co-owned by Mark Farr and Andy Hobday. On the 1st March 2019 Games Workshop (owners of Warhammer) requested that the trademarked name War Banner Games be withdrawn. They changed their name, briefly, to Dark Peak Games before receiving a Cease & Desist from an app company called Peak Games. With the permission of Bill Thornhill, they have pulled together all the ranges under Footsore Miniatures & Games and Mark and Andy are now co-owners.
