Goldring Miniatures acquired Dark Horse Designs in 1987 and seem to have gone out of business shortly thereafter. They did produce a Winter 1988 catalog but the majority of products appear to have been Dark Horse Designs models. They lost the Bard Games license to manufacture Talislanta figures to Lance & Laser in 1988. Cy Warren Estabrook was the company president and Doug Herring was Art Director.
