Hysterical Games was a collaboration between Rob Alderman and Steve Blease to develop the Panzerfaüste originally released by Wessex Games in 1998. [2,3] After successfully funding the first Kickstarter campaign (Panzerfaüste) in 2015 they developed a new Kickstarter campaign for aerial combat in the world of Panzerfaüste called Spitfyre in 2017. Following the second Kickstarter the. company appears to have suffered financial difficulties before closing at the end of 2018. On the 22 October 2018 Rob Alderman announced on his Facebook page he had accepted a role with Forge World (Games Workshop). Following his departure on the 30 November 2018 it was announced to Kickstarter backers that financial problems had come to light. Steve Blease was still attempting to deliver the Kickstarter pledges in October 2019.
