Iron Wind Metals was started in 2001 by Michael Noe & Marc Rubin - both ex-Ral Partha - and the company is the successor to Ral Partha. They are active on Kickstarter and produce a number of ranges under license. Up until July 2020 "Ral Partha" was a brand under IWM, this has now been retired and split into 2 new brands: Classic Ral Partha Fantasy and Ral Partha Historicals. Some of the older ranges have been transferred to a new company called Ral Partha Legacy.
