Some assorted photos from John Dennett:
The Devilish Nightmare. An early Grenadier figure sculpted by John Dennett. This was released as part of a 54mm line made available in the Grenadier Bulletin.
A blank for an alien sculpted as part of some preliminary work on a Mars Attack styled sci-fi series that Dennett pitched to Grenadier in 1982. Initially given the go ahead on the project, Dennett planned for a variety of different alien invaders, weaponry and spacecraft. However, the project was ultimately shelved.
The first Dragon Man that Dennett sculpted. Used as the basis for the three variants in Fantasy Lords #117 Dragon Men. Dennett preferred to sculpt unique poses for all figures and not do conversions. However, due to time pressure, blanks like this were sometimes used.
A similar basic Bugbear used as the starting point for the figures in Fantasy Lords #115 Bugbears.
