Licensed Ranges

About
Many games, books, comics or films have had ranges of miniatures specifically created for them. This page lists those Intellectual Properties (IPs) or Media Franchises where some degree of disambiguation is required - Doctor Who, for example, has had several ranges created for it both officially and unofficially. In the vast majority of other cases, there is only one range of figures for a given IP and no disambiguation is really required - such series may or may not be listed here - it really depends on how important (a subjective opinion) the IP is. Some genres are also covered with disambiguation pages. Note that in order to avoid duplication, the section a franchise is grouped under refers to the original property - i.e. The Lord of the Rings is in the book section as it started out as a book despite also being several films, board games, card games, wargames and role playing games. Those marked (u) were unofficial.
