History of the Lost Minis WIki
The "Lost Minis Wiki" was started in 2008 by the earliest members of two Yahoo Groups: Collecting Ral Partha Miniatures and Collecting "Grenadier Models" Miniatures. The intention was to cover figures produced by those two companies but this very quickly expanded into an attempt to document every fantasy company and every series that was no longer in production. The earliest archive of the site comes from archive.org (2009-01-16) when the site was still hosted on the original "recipesrealm.com" domain. One of the earliest mentions of the site is on Shandar's AD&D 2nd Edition Hold Out blog (2008-12-28).
Branding
- All of the above images are the identifying logos and branding of the wiki - provided by Stunties. Copyright is asserted over these but fair use principles apply and anyone is welcome to use these logos when referring to the Wiki in blog posts, forum posts, articles etc.
Attribution
The Lost Minis Wiki is a reference site and we appreciate it anytime that the wiki is linked to as an authority on figure identification. If the wiki has helped you out and you run any sort of blog or other social media page talking about miniatures, or if you are a commercial or auction online seller then please consider linking back to the wiki. It is appreciated.
