Lyzard's Grin was founded by Richard Houston around 1980. They initially produced some fantasy lines alongside their historical wargaming figures but discontinued those ranges and changed the company name to Houston's. [1] Other, non-fantasy lines, included Earthworks, Iron Ships & Tracks. Sculptors were RIchard Houston and Mario Zecca. The ships were sold to Stone Mountain Miniatures in 1990. Richard Houston continued on until retiring in 1998. Since then some historical ranges have been sold to the London War Room. Last address: PO Box 14522, Oklahoma City, OK 73113, USA.
Note: an early, illustrated catalogue does exist.
