- The box set came with 2 chariots, 4 wolves, 2 drivers and 2 of the 3 Goblin champions
- The letter codes come from the July 1987 MD6 Goblin Battle Chariots Flyer (except the sides) as this is likely the original contents. It is likely that some of the parts were interchangeable in later releases of the box.
- Oggbod, along with other names used above, are taken from the July 1987 MD6 Goblin Battle Chariots Flyer.
- It appears that there are only two wolves and these are duplicated on the flyer. Swiftkill and Hardbite are the same and so are Sharptooth and Goodfang.

- The July 1987 MD6 Goblin Battle Chariots Flyer[1] showed different crew, sides, wheels and scythes.
- Several additional parts were shown, alongside the original contents, in the flyer allowing you to customise your battle chariots. Some of the orc crew were re-released under 4751 Dog Cart.
- Hengist and Dagmar are the same picture on the flyer but there are 2 variants: looking straight ahead & looking to the side.
- It is likely that Kev Adams sculpted the majority of these.
