Paizo

Paizo Publishing is a "publisher of fantasy roleplaying games, accessories, board games, and novels". [1] Paizo published the Dragon and Dungeon magazines under licence from Wizards of the Coast from 2002 to 2007. In 2008 they announced the Pathfinder RPG which was based on D&D 3.5: it was published in August 2009. This was in direct competition with Wizards of the Coast publishing the 4th edition of D&D.  [2] They have produced ranges of miniatures for some of their settings and board games.
