Pocketbond Limited was founded in the 1980s by Phillip Brook as a "specialist importer and distributor to the model, toy and speciality trades". They also produced their own ranges of plastic model kits manufactured in China. One of their brands was "Toyway" known for toy Dinosaurs and they also owned the Timpo Toys brand of model figures and accessories. They were bought by Backmann in 2016.
