Reaper Miniatures was founded in Fort Worth, Texas on July 4th 1992. They are known for producing their Scrye Counter accessories for CCGs, their Master Series Paint line, Dark Heaven Legends and Reaper Bones. They run the annual Reapercon [1] event since (at least) 2005.

History
- In 2010 Reaper started the spin-off company "Asylum" to product pre-painted plastics
- On January 1, 2011, Reaper Miniatures reincorporated as Hobby-Q, Inc. with "Reaper" operating as a brand.
- By the end of 2014 the Asylum brand is re-absorbed into the main company.
