Target Games was founded by Fredrik Malmberg, Lars-Åke Thor, Johan Arve, Klas Berndal, Roger Undhagen. They produced role-playing games and supplements: notably the "Drakar och Demoner" game and its "Ereb Altor" campaign setting, which was later replaced with Chronopia in 1994. Target also produced Mutant, Mutant Chronicles, Kult and Warzone. Heartbreaker Hobbies & Games provided the miniatures for the game systems and that company was acquired outright by Target in 1997. The company Äventyrsspel was a subsidiary of Target. Financial difficulties caused Target to cease operations at the end of 1999.
