Thanks, that will make it easier. A few in the group now, Winston has a collection of around 30k figures which he thinks there are a few we don’t have images for so may be using it more often.

Hi, I've just added a Facebook template to make it easier to credit our Facebook group users. You might prefer it. Use it like this:

{{FACEBOOK|Any-Name-Here}}

Hi, here an Ork Gutrippa epic blister numbered 072784 which matches 072789/4 in White Dwarf 128. Yet more crazy inconsistent product codes from Citadel! - Cattwister 07:55, 25 February 2021 (GMT)
Typical looks like they dropped the nine or forgot it. Will add to the list. Think it should probably go under the 2789 but noted in the write up.--Dylanpig 16:18, 25 February 2021 (GMT)

Hi, have you considered using a public Google Sheet for your product codes tables? It might be easier. I also don't know how the wiki handles page edits and suspect that it simply saves a new copy of the entire page with each revision which is fine for small pages but for any massive page with long lists (and Reaper's DHL pages worry me with this) this means eating up say 50kB (for a long page) every time you edit it. No worries about adding it to the wiki once it is stable but just now there will be a lot of chopping and changing. And for example, I did this spreadsheet for Ral Partha ages ago and I sometimes still use it but mostly the wiki pages now tell me which catalogs to look at... The excel sheet has a number of calculations that allows it to produce the table on the wiki (with a bit of tweaking) so will have a look at the best ways to use the Google sheet. Agreed on the number of updates that may cause a problem if the page is long. On that is there a way to delete existing pages and their history?--Dylanpig 10:46, 20 February 2021 (GMT)

There is not a granular "delete revision X" ability but what can be done is to Export a specific page but exclude the page history in the export (there is a checkbox for this), then I think you could delete completely the original page wiping out all of the history for every revision, and then import the export to restore the page with only the last edit. In theory. I've never done. - Cattwister 12:35, 20 February 2021 (GMT)

Hi, isn't Image:Citadel-WD103-02.jpg the same as the one you've uploaded today: Image:Citadel-2004-17.jpg? - Cattwister 08:46, 12 February 2021 (GMT) Oops so it is, think the image name got lost when I was updating the Blood Bowl pages. If you delete the image I will recheck there are no others I have missed.

Hi, I've tweaked the top of The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game page and removed that explicit link to the Lord of the Rings (ME) page. Do you still think it needs it? We have a link on every citadel page to both ME and LotR in the Citadel Quick Menu if you hover over the logo. There was excess text in that LotR preamble that needed to go but the real driver for no link is it makes the preamble text section larger than the logo height which looks a bit naff when that happens. - Cattwister 09:37, 4 October 2020 (BST)

Ahh ok missed the ME under the Citadel Logo, perhaps put LOTR in brackets after it if possible so it makes it clear if somebody looks at it but doesn't hover over it?

The "ME" range has always bugged me because that obviously stands for "Middle Earth" but the series name in the calalogues is "Lord of the Rings". I don't like the brackets idea as it clutters up that menu even further. But it should be "LotR (ME)" like the page if I do it... let's see how it looks... - Cattwister 15:39, 17 October 2020 (BST)

On another note... the Tbc.jpg might will lead to confusion. We've had these before with a standard blank image used in several different places but essentially the same file. Then someone comes along and uploads the correct image for the slot they are looking at. No one notices this has changed all the other images as well. Then someone else comes along and uploads the "correct" image for another of the slots... and so on. I had a "fun" time untangling things. It's okay if we stay on top of it but a blank is better because it can have the correct filename attached to it. Getting people to upload images at all can be a struggle, it's worse if they also have to understand they need to edit the page and change the filename first. - Cattwister 15:39, 17 October 2020 (BST)

Understood, I was just looking for a way to differentiate on some of the pages I’m working on (like Late Medieval, combat cards, etc). between those that I have identified in other ranges but need an image and those that I haven’t got round to. Meant to be a temporary arrangement just whilst I check through them. I can use a banner if that’s better then it shouldn’t cause confusion. Dylanpig 15:58, 17 October 2020 (BST)
