Warlord Games was founded in 2007 by John Stallard and Paul Sawyer, both ex-Games Workshop personnel. Bob Naismith provided the sculpting for their first plastic Roman sets. They produce various rulesets for miniature-based games, several of them created by Rick Priestley. They also worked with Mongoose Publishing on their "Judge Dredd Miniatures Game".
