Scruby Miniatures were produced by Jack Scruby. He started making figures as early as 1955 and was selling them mail order by 1957. Later his brand was merged into "The Soldier Factory, Inc." - a company that he started in 1973 with his wife, Wanda Scruby. Both companies are covered in this category. The company lasted until 1988 and appear to have stopped trading (not certain about this) after Jack Scruby's death that same year. The company is notable for producing a series for the original Chainmail rules in 1975. The company also produced historical figures, as well as decorative figurines designed by both Jack and Wanda.
