Citadel's Dragons (DS) series appeared in 1987 right at the tail-end of the 'C' Series era. These short lived 'DS' codes were soon replaced with catalog page-number codes when the "Citadel Miniatures Catalogue Part One" was published in 1988. The larger models in this range were marketed in hard-shell blister cases, but the series also included smaller dragons and some models had additional character figures.
