Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Contents
In 1984, Dark Horse produced this 25mm Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles range, under license from Mirage Studios, based on the comics. The license was the first-ever granted by the TMNT creators. TMNT sold over a million units before the license expired. The 75mm figures were released November 1986.
The range was briefly available from Goldring Miniatures, following their acquisition of Dark Horse, who released them with the prefix code 107### (eg 107142).
According to dwtripp, "Dark Horse 175:Triceratons and Flying Harness is the most rare of all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles range... They were horribly difficult to cast. With so many smaller parts and what not the reject rate on this pack was often over half of everything cast."
Sculptor: Ian Lungold.
