Citadel's C12 Goblins series featured only slotta-based models. It replaced all of the old C12, C13, C14 and C27 goblin series. The first batch were released in 1985 and they were shown in "The Second Citadel Journal" [1]. As well as slotta-bases these models had moved on to plastic shields (apart from a few in the 1985 set). The range was greatly extend all the way through to the end of the 'C' Series era and most, if not all, of these figures were produced well into the 1990s under new codes.

- A "Golden Age" for Goblins with crazy names, 1987 saw a huge number of figures released - all sculpted by Kevin Adams (most likely, but only confirmed where marked above).
- All of these appeared in the Spring 1987 "Citadel Journal" [4] and two mail order flyers. [5][6]..
