The Engines of War series is part of Ral Partha's Fantasy Collector Series. It was originally titled Vehicles and Engines of War and was shown in catalogues from 1988-1997. Up until 1995 the older 02-020 Elf Chariot and 02-078 Orc War Machine were both listed as part of the Engines of War series but the 02-030 Dwarven Steam Canon was not (presumably having been dropped from the range by this point).

Originally this was a Goblin war machine then Ral Partha re-branded Giant Goblins as Orcs.
