Geo-Hex was founded by Kieran P. Rohan in 1986 when he patented the Geo-Hex terrain system. Terrain was the main focus of the company but they did enter into arrangements with Ground Zero Games (and others) in the UK to produce some rulesets and miniatures in the USA under the name Capricorn Space. At the start of 2003 the production rights and equipment to produce the Geo-Hex range were handed over to Monday Knight Productions. Kieran Rohan then left the industry for a while but he has since returned and gone back to producing Geo-Hex terrain. [1][2]
