About the Range

Midgard Fantasy was a licensed range of figures produced by Hobby Products to support the 'Midgard Fantasy Roleplaying Game' which was first published by "Verlag für F&SF-Spiele" (VFSF) in Germany in 1981. [1] In 1986 the Midguard RPG Grundbox [3] was released which included 5 Metal Magic figures. [2]

Hobby Products produced the Midgard Fantasy range from October 1985 until May 1989. [2] The only Hobby Products catalog that the Midgard figures appeared in was the 1987 catalog; these are all the 'M' series sets - the 'C' series sets were released slightly later and are known only from Hobby Products' price lists. The 'C' series sets added a few more models and reorganised the 'M' series sets into male and female groups.
