Goldring Miniatures acquired Dark Horse Designs in 1987 and seem to have gone out of business shortly thereafter. They did produce a Winter 1988 catalog but all products appear to have been Dark Horse Designs models i.e. nothing original to Goldring. They lost the Bard Games license to manufacture Talislanta figures to Lance & Laser in 1988. Cy Estabrook was the company president.
