Ginfritter's Gnomish Workshop started in January 1999 producing waterslide decals. In 2005 they began releasing their own fantasy miniatures. The intent for Ginfritter's Gnomish workshop was to have "a line of comical miniatures, bringing back the levity that has long since disappeared in the miniatures hobby". In early 2008 Ginfritter's online webstore merged with Armorcast (who still distribute the range) but in 2014 the original website went back to being its own web-store.
